Scoobies: 2022 Year in Review

2022  was indeed a memorable year. A year that made us feel proud and contended at the same time. This year marked the completion of the fourth successful year for Scoobies. Since its launch in 2018, the brand has been passionately working to revolutionize segments of the Indian kids' market to bring them at par with global standards. Scoobies have been manufacturing and bringing to India varied offbeat products to make schooling an eventful experience for kids.

The brand inaugurated its first store on 15th August 2018  in DLF Mall of India, Noida. Currently, Scoobies has 20+ stores across the country with an online presence on leading E-commerce platforms like Nykaa, Myntra, Firstcry, and Amazon, to name a few.

A Digital Transformation

This year Scoobies saw a digital transformation and focussed on expanding its social & online presence. The brand witnessed an increase in team size in varied departments like content, graphics, social media, technology, and more. With many great minds joining the team, Scoobies brought exceptionally good kids' products like Uni-Magball Tab, Doodle Tees, Jungle Mania, and so on.

Expansion in Western India

This year Scoobies got lucky and launched its first official store in Pune.

Commenting on the new flagship store launch, Shantanu Dublish (Founder) said “We’re thrilled to enter western India in the heart of Maharashtra. We took this decision after witnessing a huge demand from our customers based in Pune, Mumbai, and adjoining areas. We see huge untapped growth potential in west India.” The opening of this flagship store is seen as yet another milestone by the brand. With this launch, Scoobies is enthusiastic to provide a world-class experience to shoppers.

Announced the Launch of Its 1st Official Franchise Store

In line with its aggressive expansion strategy, and after seeing a huge surge in demand from Southern India,  the brand decided to open a Store in Hyderabad to further penetrate the market.

While talking about Scoobies franchise model, Kamakshi Manchanda, VP of Marketing & Alliances said “We see the franchise model as one of the major steps in our offline expansion that will have a long-term impact on the brand's success in the future.” She further said that “Hyderabad as a location for our first franchise store is remarkable as we were planning to venture in to South India for a long time. We feel that the location holds a huge untapped growth potential for a brand like ours.”

A Note from Scoobies Founders

While talking about the year, Kamakshi Manchanda, VP of Marketing & Alliances said “Despite facing many challenges, I am proud to say that our brand did pretty well compared to earlier times. New faces joined at the start of the year and now are a BIG part of Scoobies. I think whether it was the launch of our flagship store in Pune or kick-starting our franchise growth strategy, our team put in extra efforts to make it count.”

Vasundhra Dublish, Scoobies Co-founder further added that “2022 was great for us as a brand. The product range that we launched this year was widely loved by our customers. Both in our retail stores and online, we saw a huge upsurge in sales, especially by newbie parents. This year, we saw almost 33% of customers who made a visit again after their first purchase which is a remarkable percentage for us.”

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a new year full of love, excitement, and warmness!
