Aligning with Scoobies' mission to reshape Schooling & learning, Australian-owned Scoobies announced the launch of its first store in South India The brand’s first franchise store is now opened in Hyderabad’s Sarath City Capital Mall, which is currently the hottest shopping destination in the region.
Scoobies already has a stronghold in North India with 20+ Stores and an online presence on all leading E-commerce platforms like Amazon, Myntra, FirstCry, Nykaa & so on. Over the years, the brand has successfully established itself as an ‘unconventional & distinctive’ kids' lifestyle brand with a range of premium & kids-safe products including school bags, pencil cases, art & craft essentials, magnetic toys along with other related kids' products.
In line with its aggressive expansion strategy, and after seeing a huge surge in demand from Southern India, the brand decided to open a Store in Hyderabad to further penetrate the market. While talking about Scoobies franchise model, Kamakshi Manchanda, VP of Marketing & Alliances said “We see the franchise model as one of the major steps in our offline expansion that will have a long-term impact on the brand's success in the future.” She further said that “Hyderabad as a location for our first franchise store is remarkable as we were planning to venture into South India for a long time. Scoobies Hyderabad’s standalone store is spread across a retail area of 1024 sq ft and follows the brand’s new avant-garde retail design. The exterior has a touch of a french styled building with magnificent windows & facade. The store also features a special photo booth wall called ‘Get Wings with Scoobies’ which is one of the main highlights for shoppers, especially kids.
Scoobies store at Sarath City Capital was inaugurated on 4th November’22 in a close ceremony by the franchise partner, Ms. Divya Passani herself. Mother of two daughters, Divya is an enthusiastic woman entrepreneur from the South who deals in kids’ lifestyle products and is passionate about making a change in the life Indian kids & parents.
